FasterEFT Shows You What You Can Discover From Your Facebook

If you’re confused and frustrated because you’ve been working on yourself, making changes; and yet you still have the same problems — whatever they may be — believe it or not, your Facebook page could provide you with the clues to what’s holding you back!
Since the majority of our responses and actions are automatic, prompted by the subconscious, we are generally unaware of most of our thoughts, feelings and reactions. Take a moment to look through the posts you’ve made on Facebook recently.
Look at the posts you’ve “liked”, the videos you’ve watched, and the comments you’ve made. All of these activities can provide key insights into what’s going on in the background for you. Whatever work you’re doing to improve yourself and your life, this is what’s running in the background — behind the scenes.

What to Look Out For

Many people know that it is important to focus on the things they want in order to create the changes they desire. Clearing the stuff you don’t want, using FasterEFT and then focusing only on what you do want, is the way to create fast and significant changes in your life.
However, because most of what we do, think and feel is on automatic and controlled by the subconscious, much of what we feel, think and do is in direct contrast with what we know.
Take a moment to think about what you want to change in your life — what would you ideally like your life to be like? If you find this difficult, you could start by thinking about what you don’t want — and from there, you should be able to figure out what it is you do want. You may like to write it down.
Next, look through your Facebook page and take notice of the posts you’ve made recently. Is there anything on your page that does not fit in with what you want? Remember, it’s about what you want, not what you don’t want. You get what you focus on. If you want more peace in the world, then you need to focus on peace, not on conflict. If you want more love, you need to focus on love, not on injustice. Notice how many posts you’ve made are focused on what you don’t want instead of on what you do want.

How Does It Hold You Back?

In order to successfully transform your life, free yourself from your problems, and create the life you really want to live, you need to:
  1. Acknowledge and accept that the control is inside you. Regardless of what is going on around you or what others are doing; in order to change your experience of the world, you need to change the inside of you. For more information on this and how it works, read: How to Change Your Reality.
  2. Focus on what you do want instead of on what you don’t want. If you want to go left, and you’re looking right, you’re not going to get very far.
  3. Clear the original records that are preventing you from being able to focus on what you do want. Clear absolutely anything that bothers you, using FasterEFT, to keep yourself free from the automatic programming that causes your problems. This will allow you to keep your focus on what you do want; and to achieve your desires more quickly and easily.
Your Facebook activity (your own posts, the responses you give to other’s posts, and the stuff you read, watch and listen to) will give you insight into the unconscious programs that are running in the background of your life. Since it is your subconscious that runs the show — while your conscious mind is unaware of it — it is these programs that are producing the results you’re experiencing, not your conscious choices and beliefs.

What is the Lower Model and the Upper Model?

If you acknowledge and accept that the control is inside you; and that in order to experience change in the world around you, you need to change the inside of you (which will result in an automatic change in your experience of the world around you) but you are still experiencing the same problems — a look at your Facebook page may show you that you’re sharing posts like:
“Actions show you who someone really is. Words show you who they pretend to be”. This quote, for example, may be well-meaning in that it is trying to comfort those who are feeling hurt or betrayed by others, but it is clearly displaying a belief in the “Lower World Model”.
The Lower World Model is the perspective that is most common — the perspective that we are at the mercy of the people and world around us. This is, of course, the complete opposite to the Upper World Model — that everything we experience is determined by what we hold inside us; and that what we hold inside us can be changed.
If you find that you subscribe to this quote, or that it makes you feel strongly when you read it — or that you’ve shared it or are tempted to share it — it is a sign that, although you may believe consciously in the Upper World Model, you have a subconscious belief in the Lower World Model. You can use FasterEFT to clear the original records that are providing the “proof” inside you that you are powerless against the people and world around you

The Importance of Focusing on the Bad

Many people believe it is important to share posts that cover injustice, cruelty, conflict, prejudice and other unwanted aspects of life. The idea behind this is generally that if enough people know about it, changes will be made. While it is important to do what you can to create changes in the world, it is also important to be aware of how you are responding to the issues you’re wanting to change; and how you’re going about sharing the information.
For example, if you want peace in the world, and you hear about conflict somewhere in the world — and you feel sadness, outrage, fear, pity, anger, or any other negative emotions, and you share that post — what are you achieving? The negative feelings won’t change the situation; but they will add to your own problems.
Those negative emotional states will affect your physical, mental and emotional health. They will also affect everything you do, the way you relate to others, and your choices — along with your productivity, problem solving skills, and creativity — helping you to keep your current problems and preventing the changes you want so much. Those who read your shared post are likely to react in the same way.
If, on the other hand, you really want to make a difference in the world, instead of highlighting and sharing conflict, you could highlight and share peace. The way we feel affects everything we do, the way we relate to others, the choices and decisions we make, and the opportunities and solutions we notice.
When you are feeling outrage, fear, anger or pity, you are in a fight-freeze-or-flight state — which means that your cognitive thinking is impaired and your ability to find or create solutions, communicate effectively, and be more productive and creative, is reduced. The best way to transform conflict is by sharing peace. Peace promotes peace; putting a spotlight on conflict creates more feelings of conflict.

What Can You Do?

When you see a social media post about something that causes you to feel bad in some way, instead of sharing that bad feeling with others, send love to all involved, and share something peaceful, loving and inspiring.

When You Can’t Ignore it

While you may agree that combating negativity with positivity by sharing a loving, peaceful and inspiring post whenever you see a negative post (instead of sharing the negative one) is a good idea, it’s not always easy to do in practice. When you feel strongly about something, and your body has already gone into the fight-or-flight state, it can be very difficult to resist — and your conscious mind will follow the state your body is in, providing logical reasoning as to why you should follow the old pattern of sharing the bad stuff.
This is where FasterEFT comes in. In order to free yourself from the automatic compulsion to get into the negativity and share it, you need to clear the original records that cause the automatic response in your body that your conscious mind is following. Your subconscious is referring to records that are providing “proof” that you should react this way. This is based on the subconscious interpretation of your experiences in life to date, rather than on actual fact.

Step-by-Step Freedom from the Trap

  1. Go through your Facebook page, and notice the posts that are focused on the negative (many of these may be disguised as “positive” posts, for example, those that give advice that does not empower the reader — speaking to “victim mentality”) and focus on them, one-by-one, noticing how you feel.
  2. Notice the feelings that come up, along with any memories and thoughts. Then use the FasterEFT Technique to address those feelings, thoughts and memories until you have flipped them. As you do this you may start to realize other connections, and even positive insights and solutions.
  3. Once you’ve done this with each of the posts on your own wall, as you use Facebook from now on — whenever you notice a negative reaction inside yourself, to someone else’s post — use the FasterEFT process in the moment to clear it. You can be a lot more effective and useful to others who need you when you are in a strong, positive, loving, kind and supportive state than when you are in a negative state.
From now on, keep your social media profile clean, loving, peaceful — and reflecting your values and empowering beliefs — resisting the urge to spread the bad stuff. If you choose to take these steps and make this change, you will be amazed at the sudden boost in your transformation and the changes you want to see in your life!
